I tell everyone who asks this question, 'do you remember getting snapped by an elastic in gradeschool? It's like that'

Seems to get across well that way.

My first game out I was a little worried about how much pain this sport may inflict, But like every one is saying once your out there running and gunning, you dont really notice the shot enough to care. I have been hit really close with upgraded AEG and you get a nice sting factor but no more than a bee sting.

I was in the 2nd drug lab and some guy shot me through the window with a upgraded Ak47 and smoked me right in the lip, That stung because it split my lip wide open. The time it took me to get to the ground my face was covered in blood. All I did was grab a handfull of snow and the pain went away. Had a fat lip for awhile but no biggy.

Regardless I played the rest of the day, If most think about it the most pain you really feel is when you do something stupid like dive on the ground and have a mag pouch jab you in the diaphram, or slipping and falling.

Go out to a real game and then you will know what it feels like.

Some shots from even stock guns will hurt. Hits to the fingernails and knuckles come to mind.

CQB stuff generally hurts if it makes direct contact on skin, or tight clothing, otherwise you don't normally feel any sort of pain... Worst shot I've taken was in a room raiding scenario. I'd crouched down, and got one right on the knee. Clothing was pulled tight and everything. Took a couple minutes to walk it off, no biggy.

Yeah it hurt a little, but as someone said, it was mainly the anticipation. Now i want to get out to a game and shoot someone else (hopefully someone who's there to get shot and not a bystander). But first i'll need to acquire a rifle of somesorts.

Hmm-
Shot my native friend in the stomach from 10 metres with the very same gun you got hit with. He had the same reaction, really- however, it was through simply a T-Shirt.

Damn fine gun, that- 300-320 FPS? I can imagine it hurt a lot.

Haha, glad to know i'm not the only one getting shit with this gun. A tshirt eh, yeah sounds equally painful with just a fleece sweater. I think its 320 fps, but it was a 0.2g BB, luckily i didn't have the .25g yet :P

Lets just say this, you're not worried about 400+ FPS shots but you're still going to be terrified about getting flu shots. BBs don't really hurt unless you get pegged in the ear, nose, lip, or throat. Just remember to keep your fingers away from the business end of your AEG and Pistol. I shot myself with a 345fps AEG dead on my left middle finger, left a bloodly bruise there for three weeks, but it didn't cause it to bleed so thats a good estimate on how weak BBs are. LOL

See what I'm wearing in my avatar pic? Either I dont have a problem with pain, or there's not really much to worry about.
That too is stuff you'll learn about on the field instead of asking.

Man I just wear a t-shirt. When I played tournament paintball, I still have scars from getting hit close range. Airsoft is nothing for pain.

I had something similar, playing an airsoft game with my usual group, it was me and another kid with his Bolt action rifle, he picked a spot in the bushes, and I did some scouting, and told him ok, im getting in posision across from u in the other bushes. Well there we are waiting, and I start getting a little itch in a very uncomfortable spot, so of course im reaching and making a little noise doing so, and PAM, my own teamate shoots me in the side of the head with his .30's not 10 feet away. Thank god for full mask cuz that would have kncoked me right out man, I swift kicked him in the ass for that one
