You would have to modify a lot of stuff to get the fire selector on the right side.
So, get used to it the way it is, might seem awkward now but you wll get used to it. |

.... Speaking from experience, I'm left handed and have no problems switching the fire selector on Armalites, it's just a bit different because you either use your finger, or move your thumb around the pistol grip... Unless you're stuck on the M4, you could always look at going with an H&K gun, which features an ambi-fire selector.
Your profile says you're 21, you might wanna work on your spelling and typographical skills. |

Another solution is to dremel/screw-in another selector-switch on the other side.

Uh... how would that work? The selector plate for the gearbox is on the left-hand side of the shell. A selector switch on the right side of the body would have to either go under the trigger area and back up to the switch, or straight through the body, which in the case of the v.2 mechbox is through the spur gear. I'm left-handed, and I have also had no problems with adjusting fire selector switches on armalites. A minor inconvenience, but nothing you can't work with.

you only need "auto" anyways. |

Sounds like a plan.
For whatever reason I was thinking it could work if the selector-switch pivot went all the way through.
