yeah, the one with the open mic on both sides and the serial number is just like the real thing compared to the older version..you are good to go.

Well they told me that's the new Cavalvy headset so I'll believe them, along with the testimonies of users here.
However they did offer me a $10 store credit for the trouble (not getting what was pictured, etc). I also told them they should change the picture on their site to reflect the actual product being sold.
