Just get a pair of ADIDAS gazelle sneakers there the closest you'll get. Trust me been looking for a while for Mockba originals.

The Keiichione beat me b a very little on the sale of those Mockba's. I was angry until I found out they were going to a Canadian.

Slow, you can talk with me, just do it over the MAA website. I can help you out with choosing a vest. I've used / owned half of the modern Russian ones. I have a grad 1, 2, and Smersh right now.

Seeing as I'm not getting any replied by the admins for registering on red-alliance, I'll post my questions here.

First off, would two but packs on a smersh be historically accurate? Were the soldiers allowed free reign over customizing their gear?

Second, What exactly is the impression, or general name for the soliders that wear?:

Gorka R, smersh, aks-74n ( or KLMK )

Any insight would be helpful.

The impression you are going can be called : MVD modern troops. Those items can be found on pickture of MVD Spetsnaz or VV MVD.

I sugest to lurk in the Modern part of the Red Alliance Forum and you will find more inspiration that your brain can handle.

I've lurked Red alliance for months now, and have had hard time getting my questions answered as my account is not being verified for some reason.

Anyone have insight to my question regarding the two buttpacks?

For Smersh, no two buttpacks wouldn't be common.
The two most common configs seen is either in a low ride position (Attached to belt) or in a high ride (Attached to the upper shoulder straps)

But yes your right. units allowed there own gear would be allowed to customize whatever they wanted so if you want two buttpacks, go for it.

A Gorka/Smersh setup - Pretty much spot on, MVD modern

Alright, thank-you very much.

The only reason I will need two buttpacks would be...

#1: DaytonaGun Air rig
#2: Hold water and anything else I need.

Pending the size of the tank/regulator, i may or may not need two, but I couldn't say for sure. Also that way, It fills up the commonly empty back part of the smersh belt/pad, and in my opinion, looks nicer.

Another question, which Telnyashka would be appropriate for the MVD, if any?

For a Daytona Rig get a PKM pouch that holds airtanks very well.
Something like this: http://www.soviet-propaganda.com/ind...products_id=34
Or This: http://www.soviet-propaganda.com/ind...products_id=35

Red is typical used for MVD troops.

Do you have any real pics with it mounted for reference with an airtank in it? That is, if you run daytona.

Also, I've seen soldiers using two buttpacks, in both the high and low positions. I wish I would have saved the pictures. Not gonna be easy to find them again. Might not be common, but neither is a Russian airsofter...SO DO AS YOU LIKE!
