Family Jewels protection?

HI,i have never played an airsoft game.Cant wait to be initiated by Jackals on combat 307!!!After being AVed by Jackals,i have almost fully equiped myself in a noobish way.Got the metal M4,black police balaclava and gloves, cadpat pants/vest/hat,PB goggles, lower half mesh mask (comming in)...seems only 1 piece of gear is missing for the 1st game.I will ask this question to 99.9% of you (scuse moi barbie),how many of you find it essential to protect the nuts?If not tell me about your worst BB in nuts experience, might force me to protect them even if im in minority! Thanks.

The worst I heard (no visual, just verbal ) about was a bleeding tip of a guy's wee-wee. That was from a 8mm gas shotgun at CQB ranges.

Unless you:
- play in gym shorts and go commando
- hang your stuff out to air them out when it's hot out
- make your living off of your genitals

...don't sweat it

Yeah, I've never had a problem wearing only BDU pants (and underwear of course).

Unless you're playing with them hanging out, they'll be fine.

Believe me. I've been shot in such an area so many times its not even funny. and I don't even wear protection,

I just wear a size too large for pants and i'm fine, if you've got a lot of crotch room chances are that'll absorb the impact of the BB before it gets too close to where it matters.

I'll wear a cup and paintball slide shorts but only if I know before hand that I'm playing a Terminator role for the entire day. if it's terminator for a short skirmish, I wouldn't bother.

negatory on the 10x more pain. unless you take one off the lips or ear lobe then it's 20x more painful but goes away in a minute or so.

edit: forgot, if you get tipped, you'll likely want to go down! hahaha

I got hit in 1 game, 4x in the nuts. Its not that bad really, it'll sting for a bit but you can easily walk it off. If it bothers you a lot, there is a Pantac groin protector or you can simply use your dump pouch.

In a "NUT" shell( sorry couldn't resist)..dont worry bout the boys..outdoor games it's 1 in million you'll get hit there..and if ya do it don't hurt as bad as a finger nail or in the mouth..if u gotta be concerned bout somethin worry bout the affor mentioned..I'd get a half decent mouth guard and a good set of gloves B4 I'd be worried bout someone hittin me in the nads..the stanses you preform and the cover you have in a milsim actually minimalises exposure to your "sweet spot"( if your not an idiot)..you'll find that more often then not in a fire fight you'll be low and leadin with your head or you'll be displacin so fast that it's the other end that'l take the hit..

Oh and a final note..Welcome 2 da club..Your an mthrfkin airsofter..society hates ya, your not supposed to breed anyway....

I wear a standard cup + jockstrap setup, it chafes a bit at the end of the day but it keeps my package protected. My bro who does Thai boxing has been telling me about a Thai style cup that is like a regular cup but with 4 strings that attached to it. 2 of the strings tie around your waist and the each of the other 2 strings gets tied around your thigh. It allows for much greater movement without the chafe associated with standard cups.

from what I have seen, and as has been stated, there is not enough energy to get through pants and still sting much (unless you are indoors) knuckle shots are the worst I have gotten so far.
