JG hk416 problem

I was going to test fire the JG hk416 to make sure everything was working properly before i rap it up to ship, but when i plugged the battery i hear a pop and when i pulled the trigger nothing happened. I unplugged the batt and reinserted it again then sparks started flying out everytime the factory installed mosfet made contact with the buffer tube. I checked the fuse and it was blown. Anyone know why this happened?? The battery i used came with the hk416 (9.6v 1500mah Ni-Cad battery) Some help please.

*If you read this Hellfire please contact me asap!!* thanks!

Well... cheap chinese fuse inside. You're not the first one with that problem.

Do yourself a favor : get rid of it. Never used one, never had a problem either. You on the other side...

but by the sounds of it something is grounded out, and if you just remove the "safety" at this moment you could have some real problems!

i would start by pulling the mechbox and tracing the wires, check them with a fine toothed comb for and fraying, broken solder points, cuts in the wire etc. anything that doesnt look "perfect" could be your problem and may be a problem in the future.

there is still snow on the ground, good time to take it apart and make sure its running smooth anyway.

you could bring it down to the TAC shop and have them take a look at it. actually being able to look at a problem is always better then having it described to you.
