AEG Feed Problem TM MAC-10
Probably my favorite gun to shoot at home is my Tokyo Marui MAC-10 AEG. It’s worked flawlessly without a single jam for 30 days.
But now the rounds are simply not loading to fire. Very frustrating, there seem to be no cause. The mags are all working fine. There is no jam in the barrel. In fact if you muzzle load it, it still shoots out. The gun still has plenty of power. I can find no problems where the rounds should load. Has anyone else had this problem? Any solutions? |

What BB's are you using?

tappet plate broken/nozzle not moving?

AEP.
If it did like the MP7 I worked on lately, the nozzle has work just a little. Enough to make the tappet plate spring not strong enough to overcome the friction. Solution to this: Change the nozzle and cylinder head (or it will scratch the new nozzle) |

Thanks.
I dissected the gun further while still getting it to fire so I could see where the problem was. There is a spring in the motor which slides back and forth when fired, it moves with the loader. However this spring is not returning to its full rear position. Hence the loader is blocking the BBs from loading. When I force the spring back a new round correctly loads and fires. But of course the loader does not move back far enough for a new round to load. Is this the problem you were referring to Kos Mos? |

Yes.
There was too much friction between the cylinder head and nozzle, so the spring, even if it is stiff, could not do it's job. The temporary fix I found was to remove the little o-ring inside the cylinder head. It dropped the FPS from 330 to 250, so be aware of that. |
