Interesting. I guess it was inevitable. Such a popular camouflage.

BOOM! MultiShame is making a comeback. I wonder about UCP-D? Do I understand that with that decision, it's been canned?

I thought they weren't going to officially adopt it because Crye wanted to keep it proprietary.

Also the Russians adopted Multicam as well so this is going to be interesting.

FINALLY. Its about time they got rid of UCP.

They are gonna be identical to the Brits now, except that they have DPM in Multicam.

Why would Crye not want a massive US Defence purchase to go through? That's why they made the stuff in the first place!

It sure will be nice see more of the real stuff start turning up surplus in the next few years.

Ewww. don't tell me i have to buy multicrap now

The Army seems to love spending on useless camos. They should have gone with A-TACS or AOR1/2.

No weirder than Iran adopting UCP.

Now that Big Army's gonna adopt MC, I guess it ain't that 1337 anymore. Airsofters gonna be dumping MC like it's out of style!

How 'bout, instead of the entire service wearing the same pattern, in the same colours, no matter where they are, you have different patterns for different environments? UCP and Multicam have their places, but would either work well in, say, a tropical jungle (Philipines, Venezuala, etc...)?

I'm surprised they went with Multicam, and not the digital counterpart.

With Russia using it, you'd think they'd want something different.

well the idea is that MC will work in all of those and you will save a fortune in expenditures.

I dunno.. I could be wrong, but Multicam seems a little too light/tan/brown for a lush, dark green jungle. But I do get the savings aspect of "one camo fits all".
