Lipo Buffer Tube option
Hey guy's I'm looking to get spoon fed here. I know next to nothing about Batteries etc. I want to put a Lipo in an M4 Buffer Tube. What are my Best options. I want to keep it at 7.4V's. I am not looking for insane ROF. I will need a charger and balancer as well so if you have some good ideas on that I would appreciate that as well.

I recommend the BE6 Charger from Jugglez, I love mine for my Lipos.
However I cannot recommend a buffer tube option for you as my M4 is a Crane battery. |

Well a 7.4v 20C LiPo will give you the same ROF as a 9.6v NIMH
http://infectedairsoft.wordpress.com...teries-part-1/ Give that a read through. Although LiPo's aren't nearly as dangerous as most people think, you still need to research them before you use them ![]() |

First you need to get a lipo buffer tube (there is no way to fit a lipo in a regular bufer tube), I got this one from airsoftparts.ca which will fit this Hot Power 7.4V lipo battery with just enough room for an alarm.

Hey Primus, will that set up still allow you to fully collapse your stock?

For sure, the way mine is setup, the battery wires will push on the end cap of the buffer tube creating a small gap at the top between the tube and cap but nothing to stop you from collapsing your stock.

NiMH won't fit inside a buffer tube. If you're planning on rear wiring, you'd have to use a crane stock or a full stock. Not sure of other ones that will fit a battery.

Lipo's cant fall below 3v per cell. ( I think I got that right) You use an alarm to let you know when they are nearing 3V.

What ex just said, the alarm is just to make sure you don't go below the 3v/cell.

Those alarm is not precise. I got a few cheap one from HK, they alarm my 7.4V lipo battery when each cells is 4.00 V , confirm by testing them with my Multimeter.
I almost blew my face up with 11.1 V with those alarm, it won't just alarm last time and my 11.1 V is gone up to 2.8 V and it's freaking hot. The best way is to count your BBs or get trigger master. KND

Thats probably the problem... If you're gonna be running something with the potential to explode, I wouldn't cheap out on anything to ensure my safety.
