P90 Red Dot Sight
I couldn't find a review on the built in P90 Red Dot Sight, so I'll ask here.
Are there any actually decent or good quality P90 RDS out there for sale? Or is sticking to a TR and additional Red Dot the best route to take? |

If you want "good quality", then get a real steel one. Apparently... it fits. This is what I've heard from internet rumor, but I can not confirm this with my own experience. Take that information for what it's worth.
Beyond that, all of the replicas are garbage (Marui included). |

I've heard the same but they sure aren't too common. I have both receivers, the original dot is "ok". A tri-rail with a Aimpoint T-1 Micro is better.

Hmmm Interesting, I would have thought someone would have made a decent P90 RDS reciever by now, like G&G.

G&P and VFC have both made one, but you bolt all your stock parts onto them.

My fave combo so far is a railed receiver with a micro red dot on top, such as the Aimpoint T1 Micro with low mount, or even better - a Doctersight replica.

My fav too, I need like 3 of those T1s.
For the real deal P90 optic I would say the best route to take is to find someone who's got one and wait for them to sell it.

additional note:
The P90 RDS is actually call Ring Sights MC-10-80 The optics falls under the ITAR export for US so basically you're gonna have to ask an American to risk himself exporting it out. (If he got caught he can be jailed) The alternative is get a export permit which cause like $800USD for a $500 sight In canada PS90 with the integrated sights are like $3400CDN, and don't forget the upper is the serialized part so good luck getting a sight off them. |

A C-More sight would be a nice optic to use on a P90.

Looks like I'll be sticking to the TR and additional sight route for now.

I don't get why people keep bashing the P90 sight...
I had one and used it for quite a while. You have to aim properly to be able to see the dot. And there was complains about the sight being too bright in low light conditions... usually when playing in CQB. Well, there is a built-in BUIS on both sides of the receiver so you can use theses. On full sunlight, the dot was perfect to be used on high setting. To compare, I have a clone EOTech that has a brighter dot even on lowest setting... I removed it when I played with the MP7 of my friend the other day. On the same field (indoors), I used my P90 with the built-in sight no problem. |
