A & K M60 help

hello I have an A & K M60 and when I plug in the battery the gun just makes clicking sounds and it won't fire a single shot. Oh yeah and the gun is bnib, just wondering if anyone knows why it would do that.

Similar thing happened With an M4 of a clubmate. I beleive it was from a weak battery, so you could try another one.

Details such as what spring or fps the gun is shooting, and the volt (and mah) size the of battery will help us help you.

I would also check to make sure the battery is strong enough first. Batteries that come with these low cost Chinese guns are pretty shitty to start with, and some have been reported to be DOA, or not surviving more than a couple of charges.

Once you can confirm (using another battery) that it isn't the problem then you can diagnose the gun for problems.

Also was told, the Tappet Plate was stuck. So you could check that out too if your Gear box inclined.

If those are 9.6v "butterfly" mini batteries, just throw them in the garbage. They are weak as all hell.

Try a large type battery, 8.4v.

Hey Warrior, no need to bump a 12 month old thread. If the guy didn't fix his gun after a year it can't be fixed.

actually I'm looking at buying an A&K m60e4 and want to know what I need to to buy specifically, like batteries, gear box upgrades, etc. I've found it for $650 IN Canada.
