How well CADPAT works here

I had the camera and decided "hey I'll do a test of my own" on how well CADPAT works here. Seeing as how I haven't exactly field tested them due to weather conditions.

Now granted, this is not where we skirmish. I just chose this cause the grass is simiar actually. Goes from green vegetation to dead brush every couple of feet or so.

I also, originally set out to compare it, to it's long time rival, MARPAT. I threw in American Woodland and ACU cause that's what's common down here. Bare with me I didn't have a MARPAT top, just a bag.

Not bad actually.
Now for Woodland.

Looking prety good here!
Now for ACU.

ACU just is not a winner.

Looking good .

Even next to MultiScam

Now for the dead yellowish brush.

I didn't put a single pick of the CADPAT in the brush, it looked to stand out enough by my friend wearing it.

Gotta hand it to MultiScam here.

I gotta say though, I would much rather wear MARPAT in this region.

Well there you have it. I did this cause I was always skeptical about CADPAT working down here with the "funky grass" we have. I'm over all impressed with the effectiveness of CADPAT. I had never seen it in person to make a judgement on its effectiveness like now.

I've had people completely miss me as they pass a few meters away while wearing CADPAT, it work's damn well.

Only thing I can really add is that I find it work's a bit better when broken in/faded in a bit, when it's brand new it tend's to be a bit too green/brown/black.

Wash it, and toss it in the dryer for a few hours to tumble around..

BTW.. I'm kind of a Noob when it comes to Camo.. Would there be any way you could label those a bit better for some of us?

If it's issue gen 3 (?) CADPAT then washing it a few time's shouldn't fade it that much, but spending time outside sun bleaches it pretty well, even short spans.

MARPAT:

ACU:

Woodland:

God's damn I'm bored.

I have several slips here. Two R 22e R slips, one that says Canada in OD and the one on the jacket.

Are you planning on wearing those slip ons in games?

Interesting to note that there's a leak somewhere in Quebec now for CADPAT.. atleast it appears that way anyways.

Also, when you say jacket are you calling the combat shirt a jacket, or do you actually have a jacket, ie the Goretex Combat Jacket or Rain Jacket?

I do not plan on wearing anything I haven't earned during the game. I just haven't taken it off. I haven't used it in the field yet. It's been in my room the whole time.

Combat shirt. However, since I'm American, I'm used to calling it "Top" or "Jacket" cause Combat shirt to me is eqaul to OTW Shirt. Like my Army Combat Shirt. Sorry, force of habbit.

That was eye opening. The Cadpat is flawless in greener areas!
