Load Bearing Gear for Women

I know this has been discussed with quite a bit of humor previously, but I'm looking for some information on what type of gear would be suitable for my fiancee. I want to make sure that she has some gear before she starts playing and is able to build some muscle memory using whatever gear we get her.

I'm mostly trying to figure out what combination of LBV/Plate Carrier/Personal Armor would be best suited for her. I know that I need to have MOLLE on it, but I also want it to be lighter than my CIRAS (she's a tiny girl), mind you once we get her up and running, her primary will most likely be an mp5 or a P90.

I was thinking of doing something like taking a PACA style personal armor vest and layering a weesatch on top of it so she can carry mags and whatever else she needs, but I'm not sure if it will fit her properly and allow necessary range of motion since she has more on her chest than guys do...

What do you guys think? Serious discussion only please.

Thanks

Why not go for a molle battle belt and suspenders? Then you dont have to worry about any chest issues at all. You can still wear the paca with that. I wouldn't recommend a paca with a full plate carrier sitting on top of it though, especially if she's a small lady.

If she's tiny, a Weesatch might be too big. I had to adjust mine down pretty far, and I'm average height and girth.

Battle belt and suspenders sound like a good idea. If she needs more space later on, add a small chest rig (i.e. http://thetacshop.ca/product/chest-rig-1593.cfm), followed by drop leg panels.

Something like this would work very well too, its what I use, its a Tactical Tailor Mav 2. The entire chest area is open and the pouches go around your waise and sit on your hips. Its very comfortable. Its molle and there is place in the back for a hydration pouch. You can buy a X harness so its more comfortable on the shoulders. There are always many on sale on ebay.com for about $80 bucks or less.

There is one available in woodland for $50 including poushes right now.

for the OP, give these a try. They are one size fits all. I just got one and it seems for be pretty good. Given, i haven't played a game with it yet, but wearing it and doing some reloads with it make me think that it will show promise.

(Canadian Site. Its legit, ive ordered from them before)

A lot of vests sold on eHobby Asia that look really cool (and are cheap; $25 for a CIRAS-style vest) turn out to be really small...

Tons of great ideas guys, thanks a bunch, I'll show them to the lady and see what she thinks...still trying to convince her of function over fashion when it comes to airsoft

What's so different that a tiny chick has to have special kit?

I had this chick on my course that was about 5'3" and slim, and for the whole course including the three weeks of field, she wore frag vest and tacvest and carried a C9 with link.
The other girls (total of 4, they just weren't as short) wore the same and carried their C7's no problem.

Btw. shit comes in different sizes for a reason

Ho well endowed is she for a small lady? I would recommend duty belt/suspendors. If you going with P90 I use this which would also be good:

http://www.tacticaltailor.com/modularshoulderrig.aspx with 2 of these
http://www.tacticaltailor.com/45degreepanel.aspx
http://www.tacticaltailor.com/fnp90h...emagpouch.aspx

all on a duty belt with a rolly polly dump pouch and serpa if i choose to carry pistol. very light, high speed low drag.

Ciras, plater carriers are designed for to have the foam or dummy plates for best fit, I would try a chest rig like the CF issue one or the upgraded version from Drop zone.

Also try ebaybanned and ehobby, the asian sized vests maybe a good fit.
