Famas Canada?

Hi there! I thought to make my N00b post be some what good and have a point to it.

Where can you get a Automatic Famas in Canada??
I have used a cyberguns spring thing but that sucks balls because its not automatic!
I love the look and feel of the gun. Im looking to step up my game and get the auto ver. of the gun.

Any suggestions would be nice.

Thanks!

Unless you get verified you will unfortunately not have access to much, especially not in the Famas department.

In what region of Canada do you live? You might have a verifier near, but I don't know where to send you.

Really the only way you are going to get a FAMAS is to get Age Verified, other than that we can't really help.

I won't be able to help you in real life being on the other side of the country, but I'll suggest you take the time to look over the stickies (the posts at the top of forums), namely the one about age verification.

It's a painless process, really, you just need to meet with a rep from the site at a game or something.

Even if you get age verified, we should warn you that the FAMAS was the first AEG ever designed in like 1991. It's an ancient design and somewhat primitive. It's also rarer and harder to find. I don't see them often.

If you like the feel of the FAMAS, I'd recommend looking at some of the more modern AEG bullpups like an AUG (v3 gearbox), P90 (v6 gearbox), Tavor (v6 gearbox), etc.

The FAMAS is pretty common in Japan, that big airsoft chain retailer has them and i've seen them in manga stores (genuine TM ones).

alot of retailers can pass Cybergun brand airsoft guns from Palco Sports and they DO make the automatic version of the gun and it HURTS for about $270

For the love of god, do NOT recommend Palco.

I've never witnessed shit shittier than that shit. His best bet would be just to hunt down the real damn thing and have it last.

It may be 'better', Sure.

But what matters is whether it is truly worth the 270 this person may put down to it, and I can tell you right now, it isn't. Especially when Age Verification is an option.

Palco is most certainly not worth anything to be honest, and there are many people out there that could vouch for that as a fact.

If you are going to buy an airsoft rifle, don't cheap out. Or you'll regret it in the long run. I've made this mistake too many times myself.

You don't want a FAMAS. You don't want ANY FAMAS.

No one should ever have a FAMAS. Evil Evil Evil Evil guns.

(I've been working on one for about.. 2 months now they are IMPOSSIBLE to find parts for and a HUGE pain in the ass to work on.)

The FA-MAS is fine as long as you don't want to do much with it. For most people it's either a love or hate thing. I used to have an F1, I wish I never got rid of it. It was definetly one of the most fun airsoft guns I've ever owned. They're accurate as hell.. more than one person has described them as 'magic' for the insane long range kills you seem to be able to get out of them every now and then.
