Any suggestions for a good CLONE brand of the aimpoint comp ml2? There are so many out there, which one is the best?

And no, i cant afford the real steel.

Hey guys, I came across this video on youtube of the G&P aimpoint. Is it me, or is the parrallax VERY minimal, or even close to none?

I own a G&P and I own a china clone. Both cost the same. The G&P is only marginally better as it has less glare. There is parallax in both. Although for airsoft distances... I wouldn't say it is a problem at all.

If you want to compare the two, I can bring them (Or have them brought if I can't make it...) to TTAC3 tonight if you're attending.

How does the guarder aimpoint compare to the G&P?

I'd say most of them are quite similar as RDS design isn't that difficult...one I had for the longest time was a $30 model from some unknown maker on eBay and it worked pretty well....the real one is better in glass quality and much brighter optic, and battery life....but then nothing really comes close to the battery life of a real aimpoint....

The newer Chinese CompM4 clone though, the one I got before I went real steel was crap...

Yeah with a real aimpoint, most users NEVER have to change the battery

OHHHHHHHHH PWNNNeD!

On a side note: I would love to get a real Aimpoint. But the clones are decent enough. I don't need high quality optics for airsoft. In fact I rarely use the optics. I prefer irons generally.

But if I were to buy a real steel optics unit, it would definitely be an Aimpoint. Otherwise, it would be an Eotech.

Real eotechs are worth the money for airsoft (vs a real aimpoint) in my opinion.

So I've heard. I far prefer the looks of the Aimpoint though. But nonetheless, I don't think I would ever be able to justify being able to buy a real Aimpoint for airsoft. Although I did just buy a Magpul PRS.... Huh.

Hey how come alot of the reviews I have read and videos ive seen on youtube shows the clone aimpoints to have little/no parrallax? The red dot remains on target regardless of where the shooters' head is positioned?

Because it's a red dot, not a holographic weapon sight. The difference between a real aimpoint and the clone one (dot position/parralax error) isn't that much.

Come to TTAC tonight. I'll show you in person. Most internet crap is wrong anyways.
