Top-O-the-Line Batteries?

Ok, now I'm fed up with cheap or 'regular' batteries, they can't seem to keep their charge even if I've got (i think!) a good charger (TLP-15).

Now, I need 9.6V and 12V, and was wondering what would be the best cells money could buy to build those batteries from. Also, after a short incursion in the world or NiMHs, which might have been, in part, the source of my frustration, I'm seriously considering re-gearing exclusively in Ni-CDs :wise, stupid?

The reason why I am not considering LiPos is that 1st, my charger won't handle them, and 2nd, all my AEGs are full-stock so I don't really have space limitations. So, unless someone comes to me with good convincing arguments to justify getting rid of my current charger for a new one, they're off the list for now.

Any input will be much appreciated

I'm fond of Elite and Intellect cells of the NIMH variety.

What would be the battery size needed for a Crane Stock? (actually a HK417) 2/3A?

+1. I've moved almost completely over to LiPo, but the Elite and Intellect NIMH cells I had were top-notch.
