Me likey... I'm getting some "Green" Magpul PMAGS from eHobby Asia soon (75rnds, Flat Dark Earth). Would they be similar to what you're showing here?

What irritates me is that the buffer tube is always fucking black. Why can't a company make one that is DE/FDE/OD coloured buffer tubes.
Other than that, excellent job! |

The best ones are still the 120 round NON "Green Label" official Magpul PTS mags at the time of this writing. Nope. 10.5". Hence, the "CQB-R" in the name. Although, there's really nothing CQB-R-ish about this build besides the barrel. lol. The rail is sourced from a China factory. It is not the same one that Huang use to sell. The one that Huang use to sell wouldn't fit on to this receiver, so I had to source another one. This one is advertised as a "Grade A" build... extremely nice finish. Everything about it is very nice. Much nicer finish, material and durability than Huang's product. The only thing "wrong" with it, I would say, is that the bottom rail seems to be out of spec. One of the dimensions are too large, causing the vertical grip to require a fair amount of force to get it in to place. I used a rubber mallet to assist in tapping it in place. This is good and bad... on a mil-spec rail, that specific grip would wobble and rattle. But on this rail, it's nice and solid. Let me know if you guys want more of this rail. I can order more in. I only brought two in to sample them... the other one I'm keeping for a very special little project... The buffer tube is G&P. |

Hows the fitting of the silencer? I'm about to order mine but i'm worried it will rattle.
Also, the 'tan' one, does it match good with Magpul FDE? |

If you knew how the silencer attached, you'd understand that it is ROCK SOLID against the flash hider.
The tan is an okay match to Magpul FDE... it has a slightly darker hue to it with a tint of green (compared to Magpul PTS FDE). |

i like the concept. that is exactly what i wanted to do if i had an M4 (i dont cause i wanted a V.3 mechbox for cold weather, so i opted for a G36). my only complaint is the rail. i dont like how it doesn't match. perhaps krylon? regardless that is still the nicest M4 i have ever seen (my lust for Magpul aside).
