Do TM hi-capa 4.3 Magazines fit in TM 5.1s?

Do the stock mags from the TM 4.3 hi capa work in the hi capa 5.1?
Which mags are the best for the TM hi capa 4.3?
Which mags are best for the TM hi capa 5.1?
What are the advantages of having a chrome magazine?

they both fit in each gun, but if you have a magwell added to a 5.1 then the 4.3 mags will not fit due to the bottom of the mag and a little dremeling is required.

TM 5.1 mags are the best, they hold more gas and more bb's

Chrome mags are strictly for aesthetic purposes.

Chrome magazines actually slip in faster for reloads. Nothing else, just the same as 4.3 magazine.

5.1 holds 31 rounds.
4.3 holds 28 rounds.

5.1 magazine base is much thicker and longer.
Better for reloads.

Both are compatibale with both guns, except if you have an upgrade like a magwell, you would need to modify it to fit 4.3 magazines.

I'm very serious. Ask Illusion.
All his mags are chrome, and it slides in better.

Shirley's right.

The chrome mags insert and release much faster and with less restriction. It's not just for the aesthetic reason.

I converted all of my 5.1 mags to chrome mags:

When hundredths of a second count, and you're able to follow a fresh mag in to the mag well immediately after the spent mag clears, you gain a minor time advantage. Whatever helps... those hundredths of a second saved here and there do add up.

Why the surprise? It's the difference between a powder finish and a polished finished. The polished one would logically slide in better.

LOL...it's just whatever Shirley says comes off sounding kinda...Shirley-ish

Of course the chrome ones are smoother...and the coating doesn't scrape off like the black mags do.

After about 5 reloads at speed...black mags look like they've been dragged behind a truck down a country road.

Thanks for the input. I was online and I read more than a few people saying how the chrome ones are less reliable and they broke more often than not. One guy claims it busted in his gun.

ILLusion, I can't help but to bust a nut every time I see your handiwork. One day, I shall be rich enough to seek your skill.
