Running a VFC on a 11.1 Lipo?
Hi,
Would you consider running a VFC gearbox (v2 8 mm) found in the Gen 3 Scar with a 11.1V lipo? Would it be to fast for the motor and gear? Thanks, Bong

No, it really isn't but the ROF on 11.1 Lipo is too high (IMO).

If you're shooting around 400fps, you might be ok. But at less than 350, you will likely strip something at that speed. A good 11.1v is really fast. :|

I would not recommend it unless you have a resistor in place or some type of ECU such as the Trigger Master installed to control the output.
However, it's fine if all you do is s hoot semi-auto, but if you do a lot of full auto fire, I would highly NOT recommend using such a high voltage battery, as it will strip your piston teeth and possibly even your gears. |

I agree with Illusion on the trigger master. There's a setting to reduce your motor speed and therefore your ROF. It will also prevent your trigger switch from bursting into flames
