does anyone know a good way to wear in your ghillie, like should i roll in mud or durt. Is there anything i can do at home to give my newest tan ghillie that used look, any help would be greatly apreciated.

Roll around in mud and dirt, submirge it in water, roll it up and bury it. Dig it up and dry it out a day or so later. This works if the scrim is made with natural fiber. If it's synthetic, just wear it. None of the stuff I mentioned will really have much effect on it. Burying it is a little extreme but it's been done.

You can also take a large wire bruch to various (random) sections of the ghillies before you go rolling them in the mud. This will allow a varience of texture and allow the dirt and such to stain the natural fibers a little better.

throw it in the dryer on high heat for 15 minutes...

then clean out your dryer.

hey thanks guys

ya i just rolled them in mud dryed them out and did it again.

also does anyone think it's good to put ellastic bands to your ghillie to add natural veg to it. Are there any other ways to add veg?

Just thread the vegetation through the netting. Make sure that any vegetation only sticks out and away no more than six to eight inches, otherwise it will give away your position through unnatural movement.

You can add elastics bands. Like the green one (or painted) user to make waistbands. Don't put rubber elastics.

It will be usefull to attach small or very flexible vegetation that would not otherwise stay attached in the netting.

It also help reduce the amount of vegetation you will lose during a crawl.

Out of place fallen vegetation on the ground is a give away that a sniper was there...
