MP5 butt stock problem
Hi everyone!
I recently bought a Jing Gong model M5-J. It's been working great but there is a problem with the collapsible stock. It came in the box half-way out, which is probably normal, but since I got it all the way in, I can't get it out. The manual says that it's supposed to ''jump out'' when the lever is pulled but it's not working. Is there some kind of switch that I should pull to? I tried injecting some lube in the slide, doesn't work. I pulled really hard, doesn't work. Thanks for the help! |

You should just be able to swing the lever to the side and pull the stock out at the same time.

maybe the slides stop and spring were putted wrong inside causing it to perma-lock the slides, if its not working when pressing the stock lever on the side the dissasemble the stock and check then little catch and spring, go to mechbox.com for a mp5j dissasembly video

JG sliding stocks are stiff when they're new. Takes a while to get it worked in and nice and smooth. And they're not spring loaded. You have to pull it. It doesn't spring out.

Thank you very much!
I dissambled it and was able to slide the stock. It is still stiff but it's a great improvement! |

It'll get smoother with time. Try a little silicone oil in the channels too. That'll help it move easier.
