Mechanix Gloves in Canada

Alright, here's the short story:

I was looking for some mechanix gloves because after my last night game, my hands were frozen solid with open finger gloves, so I did some shopping around online. Sure, you can find Coyote Brown Gloves on Amazon and other places in the states, but they want to charge you the price of the glove ($20ish) + USPS at $45 + tax. Fuck that.

I went to the Mechanix website in Canada: www.mechanix.com/ca/ and I gave them an email explaining I was looking for Coyote Brown Original Gloves.

I got a great reply back from Dion at Mechanix in BC, and he told me it would cost $32 less 10%, and they except Visa / Mastercard.

I called him up, placed an order, and it came it $42ish dollars shipped xpress!!!

So if you're looking to buy some of these great gloves, give them a call in BC and get any color for less than you can buy the plain Jane black originals at Canadian Tire.

The ones with the impact guard are quite nice.. IN CB they look great and do offer knuckle protection..

I used to work with Dion at R&M motorsports right when they switched to Tucker Rocky, and just when the Rick (the R in R&M left). Rick started up a smaller spot with Renthal, AXO/Mechanix wear, some boots and maybe one other line. They got a massive boost when Canadian Tire picked up Mechanix and the just seemed to stay with the wave since then.

The impact gloves are nice and do seem to last a bit longer then the original type.
Im pretty tough on my gloves and went through 3 pairs of original and 1 pair of impact in the last year. I have since switched to cheaper gloves. For airsoft the original should awhile but the impact have the leather finger tips and will last a helluva lot longer

Impact is going to be my next buy. I got the HIGH DEXTERITY from Crappy tire, it does all the job well but after got shot like 10 feet on my pinky then now I feel like the impact is must have.

Having worn the M-Pact gloves and been shot at point blank... The difference isn't that much different than regular gloves...

So what is your suggestion ? I just want to take care of my pinky. It has been two month now that it's hurt while I move it, so don't want it happen again.

Sorry for the late reply, but, don't get shot in the pinky?

Ultimately we play this game to shoot people and get shot, it's all part of the experience... I suggest buying what you want.

EDIT: As a strange note, I originally tried contacting them with my Skype account and the call could not get through, tried on my GF's cell phone and I got through... So if they are not picking up, send them an email and have them confirm their phone number and then try calling on a regular land line.

Sorry for the necro, but the following is relevant.

Some may already be aware but Mechanix Wear Canada now offers a full shopping cart system for ordering online. Previously you had to contact them via email or telephone (as stated by Shelled) in order to place your order. Now the entire Mechnix glove product line is available for online purchase with just a few clicks (account creation required). Just ordered a pair of original's in CB - $40.85 (tax & shipping incl.)

The pricing may be the full MSRP, but at least you have the choice of anything in their catalogue, and not just what you can find at the local hardware store.
