Questions about G36 M4 magwell

Alrighty... so I'm finally fed up with the G36 mags. Too f**king big... can't do a bloody mag change in less than 5 seconds.. or at all with one hand.

I've read about the PP M4 magwell for the G36, but I've heard a lot of people have some issues with these. I want to use VN style mags in it because normal STANAGs look like ass in a G36. It seems KA mags suck in the conversion unit, and I think MAG is the only other brand that makes VN mags (as much as I HATE midcaps). Thus my combination would be a PP M4 magwell (V2), MAG M16VN mags, with a stock CA36 hop-up unit.

Has anyone had issues with:
a) MAG 130 round VN magazines
b) The PP magwell conversion with MAG magazines on a CA36 hop-up?

Thanks

The only issue I ever had was mag wobble. I lined the inside of the magwell with velcro strips (the soft side) and it fixed the problem. Never had feeding issues, I used TM metal lowcaps at the time in my G36.

Good idea. Never thought of using velcro.

Anyone used the Socom Gear adapter? I was curious as to what modifacations were necessary to fit it on a CA36.

There are other companies that make VN mags: Dboys, G&P, STAR to name a few.

Indeed. I'm trying to avoid hi-caps, or at the very least get ones with the lowest capacity possible.
