AKs-74U With AK-47 Magazines
Anyone else use regular AK-47 Magazines with your AKs-74u's?
I got my first magazines in AK-47 style this week, regards to Styrak. I must admit a little wobble, very light, but cheap and feed flawlessly. Mostly i got them due to a quick find, cheap and my personal opinion. So I'm wondering, does anyone else use normal Ak-47 Magazines with their Aks-74u? |

i do. it doesnt wobble. I use it just because it's metal and doesn't tell away like the bakelite colour.

Are yours the 105 rounders from Styrak? I tried taping mine with electrical tape where it fits into the magwell, but the tape is just pushed down, any other suggestions? And mine are plastic.

Spelcrum-Haha, nice, although they are a pain to load by hand, still need to get a speed loader.
Knivezs- I still have my Bakelite High-cap it came with, but i seem to lean more to the curved style(AK-47, rather than the longer looking AK-74 magazines. |

i like the look of the 47 mags in a 74u over any 74 mag

everytime you push a BB down into the mag, you are scraping off hand grease onto the BB. And the top of the BB is exactly where the Hop up rubber applies. What you are doing is practically oiling the hop up, which makes your shot inconsistant. And your accuracy will suck more and more in time. in any case, mine is a JG High cap. I don't use midcaps lol =\ |

And that's the whole reason why i bought them, the 74 Mags aren't very appealing to me compared to the 47 ones. PM me if you've got an extra Speedloader EDIT: My 74u is a stock CYMA AKs-74u, and i use .28 gram BB's, what about you guys? |

I use whatever I got. I play with friends on my team, who all use various ak types. I first start off with ak74 mags, but by the end of the round, I might have a few tucked away on me. But I got all types of ak mags, from the tm metal to the mag brand RPK's.
Use what you have. Unless you're anal about the look of your impression. |

also, if you want speedloaders, get them from ehobbyasia. Don't buy the Dboys brand, they don't work, only buy King Arms. By the way, clean your gun, it will improve your accuracy considerably. |
