goggles or mesh goggles?
which is better because my goggles always fog up and im wondering if anyone sells fogtech in winnipeg, also i was wondering if the mesh goggles would be better or is it too risky because bb's may break

one of my friend uses mesh goggles but he's wearing safety goggles under them "just in case" so if you're going mesh think about wearing something under them.

it would be best to check out the rules concerning mesh where you intend to play, some fields do not permit them.
Personally, I've got a pair and I can never go back to regular goggles, unless the field I happen to be playing at doesnt allow them so I always bring a spare |

one of the local admins in red deer did a test with mechgoggles, often the bbs would shatter sending small particales into the users face. i think theres a youtube video of it somewhere. as well, if a hot gun is used, over a small period of time the mesh will weaken and eventually break, not good if you ask me. i use 5.11 tactical glasses and usually don't have a problem unless its super hot out or im laying in deep grass.

I use HFC mesh goggles, and this was one of the best decisions Ive made. So comfortable, your face doesnt get as hot, and you can actually see what your shooting at. Ive never had a problem with them. Ive been shot right on them, and not so much as paint chip come off. Ive shot them point blank before with some pretty hot guns and still good as new. When getting mesh, don't get the stamped mesh, make sure its weaved steel threads.

^ yep same here ancorp and i got the same kind on ehobby
the sansei style clones with the stamped mesh are crap and will not stand up to anything over 370fps at point blank, I have one that I destroyed in testing with a really hot ak however I hear that the actual authentic Sansei masks are pretty good |

Get a real sensei lo-pro mask. I've shot mine at 480 FPS and it only left a small dent. As for mesh/goggles... Get both. The good sensei will run you about 25US, and a good pair of goggles is anywhere from 50 to 200.. I'd recommend ESS, don't bother buying "Airsoft" brands of goggles. |
