What's with the GI with the speeding BB logo on it?

Watermark or on the actual rifle?

yes, the camera setting and lighting condition when the photo was taken makes a HUGE difference in colour and tone. So don't believe those pictures.

Watermark for airsoft GI web site,

On WGC site, the finish seems off also:

believe me man, the "real" SCAR photos doesn't seem to have any lighting at all. On the other hand, pictures taken for retail purposes are always taken in Studios with LOTS AND LOTS of lights.

IMO no airsoft company has made a correct coloured SCAR, since all companies mold their lower receivers in tan plastic and their uppers in aluminum they never have matching upper and lower colours. The closest one their is is probably the Classic Army one but that to is off by a bit.

YouTube - AATV Video Review: Scar vs. Scar vs. Scar vs. Scar

The Dboys one's upper receiver is bronze as opposed to tan.

That gun looks the way a turd covered in burnt hair would smell anyway.

well the smell goes away eventually, and IMO you have one of the best and most economically friendly SCAR on the market.

Doesn't the real Mark 16 have a polymer lower receiver? I count about 5 tans in the FN pictures.

As said before the way they colour corrected the pics will exagerate the differences in materials.

It's like expecting cotton and nylon too look the same.

colour differences are due to the classic armys having a painted upper and other makes like g&g/dboys being anodized resulting in a metallic effect
