How do those CQC plastic safariland style holsters attach?
I am looking at this right now:
http://ebaybanned.com/product_info.php?products_id=1649 And it looks like it's only the holster and the leg panel. Does it come with any straps? How does it attach? I've never been able to figure these out or know how the straps fit in all the slots. Do I need to buy a separate drop leg platform?

That's not a Safariland replica, it's a BlackHawk Serpa replica. It has the paddle attachment and you can see a hint of the belt attachment behind the holster.
I use a strike plate to attach one to my molle vest. And yes you can also buy the separate drop leg platform which it can attach to. Their description just sucks (copy/paste). |

That paddle is meant to be used as a hip holster in conjunctions with the serpa.
Should attach by some form of scres, just can't remember which ones. |

They're really strange thread short Phillips screws. The holster should come with them regardless of the attachment.
But to be honest, don't go clone for this... The clone ones are flimsy and weak, I've stood ontop of my black hawk one and it supported all 215 pounds of my weight. + The real one is only like 20 to 30 bucks more than the shitty clone. |

From the pix, it looks like a belt holster with a spare 'paddle' attachment. Paddle holsters/attachment are meant to go to your pant's waistline without the need of a belt, although, slipping it over a belt is not an issue. I'm using a paddle holster as well. The weird 'smiley' holes on the paddle is for cant adjustment. It should comes with a few sets of short, small, stubby phillip head nuts and bolts.
Yeah, it's a blackhawk cqc clone. |
