VFC SCAR firing problem
Hey all,
I just did some internal upgrades to my VFC SCAR. When I went to test fire it, it was cycling twice with every trigger pull. I tried replacing the cut off lever and it is was still firing twice. After few full auto burst, the gun seems to cycle 1.5 times with each trigger pull. Am I missing something here? Set up is a m120 spring, 11.1 lipo and systema magnum motor. No sector clip. |

Yeah, U're Lipo-ing . Sounds more like a sticky trigger. Tried 7.4V Lipo? Also is this FET-ted (or maybe even at least AB-FETted)?

wow, using lipos seems to introduce more newer problems to the gearbox. I used to have this problem due to a faulty cut-off lever.
The high voltage of a 11.1 has to be the cause of this now. I think u should go for a 7.4V lipo. |

are you saying in semi-auto if you quickly snap back and let go the trigger the gun will continue to cycle even after you let go .5-1 times?
on semi? maybe the 11.1 damn volts of lipo power is creating so much speed the sector gear has so much inertia its ripping back the piston half way even after the trigger is released and the shot is fired . damn |

What brand cutoff lever did you put in?
VFC 416s had a problem that sounds similar to this but was cured with the cutoff swap. Mine was doing it, I put a Guarder in, and it's cured. |
