Hey guys. Disturbing forum post on a different forum that I saw

Hey guys. Im part of a technology forum. and I saw some guy wanting to buy a sniper rifle airsoft gun.

This is what he said.

"screw it. This is way too serious.
Im getting the M6 sniper Swiss gun. (Its about 400fps, I presume)
Im smart, no one gives a crap when we play its al good.

And I have a waver I make parents and kids sign before we play. They are all good until 2020. And give us a link to the supposed deaths. Or the ones where idiots were playing with no mask.
Ill shoot m friends 5 feet away with this gun and they wont give a hoot. It will hurt them but we dont care, or tell on each other so its all good. "

What the hell do you guys think about this? I know this guy isnt a troll. Hes 100% fucking serious when he says this.

Hope he puts his own eyes out? Hope for the best?

Not much we can do beyond that. We already screen as much of the sales here on ASC as possible. We can't prevent stupidity or irresponsibility, especially when it happens elsewhere.

Haha styrak, but seriously, that guy is insane thinking that his friends wouldn't care if he shot them at 5 feet. with 400 fps? That would definitely do quite a bit of damage.

Only documented case I've seen of a 6mm airsoft gun killing someone was in Japan, and involved a hypothetically highly upgraded NBB shooting metal BBs. The weapon was never recovered and the crime never solved, so very little information is available.

I doubt airsoft has ever killed anyone, unless they choked on the BBs they were chewing.

What you read was probably a .177 BB or pellet gun.

There was a story years ago that 2 teenagers played with pistols, airsoft pistols because they said it was a yellow 6mm BB.
They were shooting around, and hit a little boy back of the head, and somehow almost got to the brain? I bet someone will know the story, I remember seeing this on Toronto Sun, and the pistols used. But this was years ago, maybe 6 years ago.
