Which MP5?
I have been in the market for a MP5 recently and I am deciding between an ICS MP5SD6 and a G&G PM5A4. If anyone could recommend one over the other it would be greatly appreciated. Just browsing Airsoftgi the other day and I found this chart for MP5 ratings. Just wondering if it is true?
http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_inf...oducts_id=4236 Scroll down to see it. Would be purchasing it from Buyairsoft, don't know if anyone has seen the site recently they now carry clear G&G and ICS guns very interesting how all these sites are getting them, I guess we have Ken to thank for that. http://buyairsoft.ca/catalog/index.php?cPath=21_55 |

Can't say much for quality on those two particular brands/models but what it really comes down to is what style you like more? Do you want the shorter A4 look or the long SD?

In terms of quality, ICS internals are probably better. I don't know if ICS's MP5s use their split-mechbox thingy though. You might want to do a bit of research into that first.

ICS is your best bet, one of the most sturdy ones Ive used they feel / look / and work great. I have and ICS Mp5 A4 and its most certainly rock and roll!
I cant comment on G&G. but the ICS is all around better, there are some areas that need to be worked out but thats what upgrades are for. |

ICS was the innovator of the 'quick takedown' mp5. Not sure if G&G do this. It just makes it so much easier to take the gearbox out. And no they do not use the split mech box in either model.

GG tends to be over rated
ICS are far better than average mp5 Echo1 is the best value price, not as good as AirsoftGI rating says CA are great external component but mechbox could be better if they wanted to TM are still the best internal mechbox but external is ABS plastic JG are TM cheap replicas with average metal bodies Lyacoon, TF, Aftermath and other weird compagnies have many issues and need upgrade kits to compete with good brands. (at the end you dont save money) I worked on most of them but prefer ICS and CA. CA have ejection port working for hopup adjustment, some aftermarket parts are not fully compatible though. ICS are TM's but with metal bodies. Easy to work, i havent found uncompatible parts excepted some RIS. Internals are almost good as TM. Tip: you should get ASC age verified and look at hidden retailer threads.
