Biggest Game?

What is the biggest airsoft game of the year in Ontario and how many people usually make it out?

It's usually a miscellaneous FlagRaiders game that balloons wildly out of control as far as attendance goes. But, officially, I think it was the BorderWars game.

Dunno about massive FR games at the new place. A lot of the fields are divided by slopes that make Hill 1337 look flat.

That would be half the fun.

So it seems Boarder Wars is the game then.... I wonder if the host is looking for an indoor/outdoor place to hit for next years game? I have access to an old mental hospital that was used this year for some military training that a game could be held on. The place is absolutely huge and would one hell of a place to have a game at.

I highly suggest you organize one. A medium sized CQB game in a building like that would be AWESOME. I don't think we have anything like that in Ontario. Talk to some of the people who regularly organize games around here to get some ideas and help.

BlackRain, can I father your children?

If you make the hospital work for Airsoft, hands down you'll have the best field in all of Ontario.

Hey, are you talking about the old hospital over in Picton? The one on top of the hill?

Hospital

Yep that would be the one.... I met the owners not too long ago and had a great convo. with them about paintball and airsoft. I also have access to just over a hundred acres of wooded area as well to play in.

The place would be too big for a medium sized game.... it is after all an old hospital. This place would easily hold a game of 500 or more with the amount of room that is there..

Holy shit, this is awesome! Get it running, I'll start convincing everyone I know to show up. I always wanted to play in an abandoned building, but the legalities....

In.

You can count on almost everyone in southern Ontario to show up to that game, you'll just need logistical support from Krusty or one of the guys who ran big games like Border Wars.

Setting up the venue and making sure everything runs smoothly is the tough part.

Well... I own one the largest paintball fields in Canada so I'm pretty versed in how to run a big game so to speak. We have run a bunch of scenario's at the field including 24hr games and night play. I personally would just like to see a huge group of folks come out and enjoy a great day of gaming and get in on some of the action myself instead of being in the background running things.
