REQ: Canadian patches pictures

Can someone put some pictures of various Army patches that CF uses?

ISAF too if you have them.

Are you referring to dress uniform patches or on our combats?

Often the only patches you'll see in the field is;
A) Flag
B) Slipon (with rank and unit tab)

You might reconsider putting on unit/rank/ISAF patches (if this is what you were thinking of doing) as you have not earned it. IMO.

Some units and regiments have them and others don't. Pretty well never on any visible article of clothing unless you want to be chewed out.

The nearest thing you'll find is a cap badge. Unique to the units and worn most of the time.

As Lerch and the other have said, CF pers do no wear unit patches in the field. Something like that Regimental tab you posted is not ever worn in the field; only on certain semi-formal uniforms (which you wouldn't be re-creating for airsoft, right?).

Canadian troops in the field wear:
National flag (green or brown)
Name tape
Rank insignia
IR patch (black and white rectangle; worn in Afghanistan)
ISAF badge (in Afghanistan; or UN patch if on a UN op)

That's it. As said above, there are Regimental cap badges, but those are not worn in the field (we don't even pack 'em).

You might be thinking of US or UK forces, who wear Regimental badges on their sleeves ....

Yes we can. I did not serve in no regiment. And why do only you underage kids attack me? You want to show others you are responsible? You don't know will I wear this or I just have collection passion or I'm reenacting. Is it not? You funny little people, you don't know anything but you must say something or you would die in pain. Grow up kid, get a life or something. I have tons of uniforms and military stuff from various country's, most of it you never heard of and you never will. And you have something to say to me? What Bowers is trying to say is he has a problem with people wearing insignia they haven't earned. I'd have to say that I'm on his side, but there's nothing I can really do to stop you other then make sure you do a proper job of wearing the kit.

That said, if you want to wear the insignia, put effort into wearing it properly, instead of just tossing random patches together without giving a damn.

It comes down to pride. These guys worked hard and earned those insignia. And they don't wear it on the field usually. And they sometimes get chuffed when guys wear insignia without earning it. Especially if it is incorrect.
If you do an impression, with the insignia, make sure it is correct. Respect the uniform, and the guys that earn those insignia. If done correctly, it adds to the impression,and is respectful to the uniform, IMHO. If done incorrectly it is disrespectful. Just my two cents worth.

Problem is I didn't say that I will wear these insignia or not, but that didn't stop them to make smart comments, and I get them like attacking me.

I know the "rule" because 99% Croatian airsofters make their own insignia and wear them. We also think it's not fair to present something without earning it. I would like to have some CF insignias like I have many other from other countries. Only thing that I plan to wear is sign CANADA, little Canada OD flag and maybe berate with some Canadian TM in it (like maple leaf inserted somewhere), and I plan to make that myself in my own vision! I hope I clarified this misunderstanding... and sorry about poor English.

I hear ya, I will keep the insignia on my Ukrainian Marines BDUs, as a tribute to my heritage, and my friend from Kiev, who was in the military. But on most of my BDU's I don't have any insignia.

Leave any regiment/unit patches alone to those who deserve it.
