Western Arms tolerances

Hey I just recieved a WA Infinity 5.0 and a KSC G17 off Amos. I was taking a look at them and both weight and look much better IRL. However somethings bothering me...

The G17 is solid, its got a bit of grease all over it but it feels solid. The slide action is slick and precise. However the WA, heavy as it is, doesn't feel half as solid as the G17. I was under the impression that WAs were built to impeccable tolerances, but my GBB rattles. If I gently shake it I can clearly hear parts rattling inside. The outer barrel seems to be a bit loose, as it . Also the hammer and trigger don't feel as snappy as the G17's. The slide and mid frame do not match up that well, and I can push the slide to either side, leaving about a ~1mm gap between the frame and the slide (this is the front and back both).

Seeing as I paid 100 dollars more for the WA, why does it seem to be built to lower tolerances than the G17? Or is this normal and do I just need to wait for a chance to shoot this?

It's all normal, the outer barrel especially since its not realy being held in place with a bushing like 1911's.

If you really want a snappy hammer, then you can upgrade the hammer recoil spring to something a bit harder, and you'll get a few more fps out of it too i believe.

Once you start firing it you'll see how nice it really is.
