King Arms CQB

Yesterday I got my new toy in, a King Arms M4 CQB A3. This is my first KA AEG, and for some reason I can't seem to split the receiver.
I've removed both receiver pins, but it will only slide mabye 1/8 inch forward. What am I over looking? What is it caught on?
Thanks,

Thats my guess as well, but how do I get it off? The owners manual was useless.

Fully Remove both the reciever pins. I guess you can leave them in if you want.
Remove upper as usual but pull back on charging handle and lift up slightly as you slide the upper forward.

Failing this, bash with rock, grunt like caveman

ROFLMAO.

Am I the only one wondering why he's taking apart a brand new King Arms AEG?

Probably to swap hop bucking and/or inner barrel?

Have you pulled the charging handle and left it unlocked?

Does this KA CQB have the bolt release thingy...if so, you have to remove the Bolt release lever/arm first.

If it's the bolt release type of KA body...it'll be fresh in memory Wed night...I've got one on the work bench that I'll get into.

Pop the front receiver pin, hold the dust cover half open so it wont hit the front receiver pin then gently slide the upper receiver toward the front.

No need to remove the bolt release but if you did put a little bit of thread lock on the bolt pin. I lost mine including the bolt release lever awhile back.

A spring came off that releases the bolt. I can't get to it properly without spliting the receiver.

Alright I managed to split the receiver, it seems that there is a small tab on top of the gearbox that holds the charging handle in place.
Anyways, the spring is gone. Which sucks cause the bolt won't return on its own upon pressing the bolt catch.
On the manual, the part number is '38' and the code is 'S-R-80'. Who or where could I contact to get my hands on this spring?

what kinda spring though? is it a straight one or the kind thats on the bolt cover and on anti-reversal latches? if its a small straight one maybe you can replace it with one out of a click pen and if you need one smaller than that find one of those pens with all the dif color inks in them. i think springs on each one of its different inks are smaller than the average click pens
