Battery question
I've got my new CA M15A4 with an upgraded spring i need to know what type of battery would best suit the gun, my 8.4 dosen't have enough power to crack back the spring.

doesn't have the power!? what spring are you using?
also what brand/chemestry of battery are you using? when you say can crank back the spring what do you mean? does the spring actually not pull back? does it fire slowly?

the gun is brand new i purchased it with an upgraded spring i contacted my dealer to tell me wait type of spring it is and what i mean by cranking the spring back is, it started slowly and stoped with the 8.4 the moter works and so do the gears, the new spring though makes the gun shoot around 360 to 400 fps so i'm think a 9.4 to 9.6 or 12volt would do the job.

that sounds to me like you need a new battery, but not necessarily anything stronger...
buy a 8.4V Ni-MH or if you have a 9.6 9.4's dont exist for airsoft, and a 12 would wreck your gun... buy a high quality fresh battery... http://www.airsoftparts.ca/store2/in...&cPath=117_119 scoll down, i have heard great things about intellect packs...

I'm gonna get the Intellect 9.6v 1600mah NunChuck Battery NiMH Mini battery, or the Intellect 9.6v 2000mah Twin Battery NiMH
Fits M4 Handguard (fuse removed) and CASV handguard. |

yes
it's the capacity that cranks the spring, take a higher capacity battery, not a higher voltage.

even a 7.2v nimh pulled my M120 spring, unless you have an extremely weak motor. It sounds like your motor height is too high, thus jamming up the mechbox. If you use a 9.6v or 10.8v and it still won't fire, then you will burn your wiring.

ok, so what would be a good capacity in a battery for cranking the spring back, i'm not interested in fri-ing me gear box out or F**king it up, i need to know what the best thing to do is.
