AA12 USAS-12 Auto Shotgun

When is there going be an airsoft AA-12 or USAS 12 fullauto shotgun on the market? That would really bring shotguns to the battle. I've been waiting, and waiting..

The AA-12 as airsoft would be awesome.
It would be even better if it shot three BB's at the same time on semi-auto, lol.

What's the point?
if kinda like Tanaka shotgun except you're gonna lose more shells

Someone already tried making a Saiga shotgun by converting GHK AK to shoot 10 round at same time. Last time I check it work, but not really well. Go GGI forum and dig it.

But couldn't you cycle the mag almost like a big revolver not losing shells, but then having more power like the tanaka since each shell would be gassed

one thing I know is when I take out the shotty, (usually by the end of the game when batteries are empty) I don't wanna have to deal with gas, refills and/or potential leaks.
A shotgun with battery also defeats the purpose...

CAW revolving grenade launcher concept with a smaller mechanism and non ejecting shells.

Still would need a battery and motor to cycle the cylinder for an automatic... though I wonder if you could do a design and have the cylinder rotate hollow-back shells packed with 5 or so bbs in front of an air nozzle? I'm thinking something like the shells used in most gas revolvers, only with five bbs lined up in a row at the front, with a single barrel that all five bbs go down.

You'd need a motor and battery to rotate the drum still, but you could have a gas reservoir in the stock. Hell with an AA12 you could probably fit a small refillable Co2 tank.

I doubt it would work, but it's an idea.

Just have the empty shells eject from the ejection port back into the drum mag.

Problem Solved.

Problem is the shells are expensive, and the more gas shells you have the more likely you'll encounter one with a leak. The less complex the system, the better. I'm not enough of an expert to be sure that one is more reliable than another, but my gut tells me that one big gas reservoir would be more reliable than a dozen small ones. The trick is how to feed multiple BBs reliably.

*edit* I should add I am assuming a full-auto shotty. If you want a semi-auto then the CAW launcher works well enough, just would have a long trigger pull.

I completely Disagree.
Your firing full Automatic using gas.

One resevoir would have Cooldown issues, having independant resevoirs would not as it would be a fresh chamber.

Ive used 203 Grenades for example with 0 issues for years, Ive never had a leak, and I doubt I will within the next 2-3 years. Theres no reason why the Shotty shells cant do the same.
