Finally, Night Vision Goggles Get Priced Low Enough for Cheapskate Perverts
Copied from: http://gizmodo.com/5054717/finally-n...skate-perverts Night vision goggles are one of those things that you've always wanted, but known that the novelty wasn't worth the hundreds (or thousands) of dollars such fancy equipment obviously would cost. Well, good news! Now there are night vision goggles priced with you, the amateur pervert, in mind. Only $90! The EyeClops goggles we checked out in February are finally for sale. They're similar but assuredly crappier than the ones special forces badasses use! No sleeping ladies are safe when you've got cheap night vision goggles. [ThinkGeek] |

Actually, if you put a green filter on the LED's, it'd look like Sam Fisher's NVG's.

BALLET, TYPE: SELF LOATHING, ANALBURST
|
The EyeClops Night Vision goggles let you see in total darkness using infrared lights, all while giving you that special Terminator look. Two attachments allow visibility 10 or 20 feet ahead—the 10-footers give off no light, the 20s show some small red dots.

The more times I see them I laugh harder. No offence to the manufacturer intended. LOL Hey but Halloween is coming up.

You can more or less build those yourself. They aren't, as previously stated, real NV. They're basically just a CMOS-based camera, capable of seeing IR (like cheapo "spy cameras" on eBay) and some IR LEDs providing illumination.
