Sniper Scope Video Camera
A video I made by attaching a camera to my sniper scope. Turned out quite well actually:
YouTube - AirsoftKorea.org - Sniper Scope Camera VIDEO INFO: This was taken during a game between GHOSTS (my team) TeamZero (korean), and Team Falcon(Korean). Bolt action sniper rifles were disallowed in the larger game so I only took scopecam videos in one smaller game. The location is awesome, you can see it better in this video: YouTube - AirsoftKorea.org - Ghosts vs. Team Zero . It's an old Korean army training site, there are steel cutouts of North Korean soldiers and tanks everywhere. Team Zero has been playing there for 11 years. The smokin' young lady there in the second video has been playing since she was a kid. GUN: JG BAR10 (Tasco 3~9X40 Scope) CAMERA: SONY DC100 MOUNT: Detachable camera mount made with an old tripod LOCATION: Incheon, S Korea There are more airsoft videos in my youtube channel: http://ca.youtube.com/user/CEAChris My team page is: http://www.airsoftkorea.org/ If you are ever in Korea and want to play we are out every Sunday. Just give us a shout on the site.

That's pretty awesome. So you had the camera mounted behind your scope and then you used the LCD to see what you were looking at?

Thanks
Yes, it was a total bitch to line it up. I had to point the gun at a close tree and use that as a reference to another landmark until I got to the target. Usually took 2 steps. Gets very frantic when ur being shot at. I used a toilet paper tube(covered it camo tape) to block out the light. I'll take a picture of it sometime this week.

Well, that's what you get when you have only ur head sticking out :P. He got a bit of a bruise on his chin. It was pretty far away so it wasn't too bad, I'm only shooting 340fps with .32g.

Very nicely done with the unique camera footage and some nice shots there, especially the 70M uphill shot.

Why are bolt action shots disallowed at big games?

Can't say I totally disagree. The logic is that it promotes camping. There are about 100 people playing in the big games and the tendency of a lot of people is to hang back and wait instead of running into a hail of fire. I think a few should be allowed to take out some of the MGs. It's kind of like landing in Normandy sometimes going over the hill and getting peppered from 10 different directions.

totally stock. All I'v done is clean it and change the scope mount to a low profile one (the one it came with broke while i was screwing it on).
