CYMA Glock CM.030
Okay so seeing that other thread made me want to do a quick review of the CYMA gun
My frame of reference is from this site http://www.airsofthawaii.org/ballist...7/g18pdi.shtml In actuality the internals of the Cm 030 is a clone of the TM Glock AEP which you all know The big difference in between the two is that CYMA cheaped out on the gears and motor. Everything else operates the same. Basic Operation - Ni-Cad Battery operated, small black micro battery 7.2v 1500mah - Full and Semi auto - Last for about 3 - 4 hours Teardown Pic courtesy of Airsofthawaii In actuality the internals of the Cm 030 is a clone of the TM Glock AEP which you all know The big difference in between the two is that CYMA cheaped out on the gears and motor. Everything else operates the same. What you see in the picture is the TM AEP as my camera was broken and I cannot take a picture of what it looks like but opening it up it is pretty much the same, but you will notice the TM having better internals. How it holds up in a Skirmish This will talk about the performance - Hard trigger pull I noticed that the trigger seems more stiff to pull than any AEG and GBB, while it does not hinder you unless you have weak fingers it will still shoot fine on semi - Great CQB action I gamed this at TTAC, and I have to say I was going into the game thinking "Oh boy a CYMA hope I don't get owned". I was shooting shit until I set the hop-up just right in the middle to accommodate the .20g and after that I was shooting very accurate. From 30 feet I would estimate about 1-2 inch groupings. This gun is amazing for CQB althoug 220 FPS may not sting but if you are good with aiming you aim where it hurts, you can upgrade the gun to 255 FPS. And some say 270 FPS as well. - Full Auto Is great if you only have the TM 100 round AEP magazine, but if you do not then you may be just wasting BBs as I found it is easier to run out of BBs in the standard magazine and having to reload. It is useful though in CQB when someone is not calling their hits you can blast them with it since 220 fps with full gear on sometimes feels like nothing if you fire on semi. - Upgrades This whole package will get you up to an average of 270 Fps Nineball bushings Nineball upgrade spring Standard TM head and piston Nineball spring guide Pdi 6.01 or Madbull 6.03 barrel (on its own the barrel didnt add that much fps but combined with the spring it all comes together) http://www.airsoftcommunity.co.uk/fo...p/t125157.html Here is also how to reach over 100 feet maximum range but since its a Cyma 2/3 chance you will get these results since there are for TM Glock 18c but the Cyma Glock 18c is a clone of it anyway http://www.airsofthawaii.org/ballist...7/g18pdi.shtml Suggestions If you are tight on a budget and are only going to plink or game this in CQB games then this is for you, but if you are planning to play these in outdoor fields you may not do well, unless you get the TM Glock AEP NBB as after PDI upgrades Grant (Impact Games) stated that he reached a average of 255fps on .20 but a whooping 230 feet range So if you have extra money go for the TM Glock AEP cause with PDI upgrades its a beast! But if you are planning to just CQB CYMA is good enough on a tight budget Last edited by cbcsteve; September 9th, 2008 at 16:20.. |

This guns is TTAC Friendly
I won a bag of BB Bastard with this gun during Brian's last man standing game. Although the trigger is a little hard to pull it is still good enough for you to peg people and even though its 220 fps it still hurt on un-armoured areas. The gun is not loud compared to the GBBs and with Brian's fan on and music on the gun will just blend in the background and not give your position away that easily |

Update
After snooping around for awhile I was able to confirm that yes you can upgrade it to 270 FPS and also included what package you will need to get for it to shoot that high Nineball bushings Nineball upgrade spring Standard TM head and piston Nineball spring guide Pdi 6.01 or Madbull 6.03 barrel (on its own the barrel didnt add that much fps but combined with the spring it all comes together) After that you pretty much have something comparable to the MP7 if you add a longer barrel and a silencer Last edited by cbcsteve; September 9th, 2008 at 16:16.. |

Your last pic there isn't a glock....unless they've drastically changed their style to resemble that of H&K and added an external hammer.

Oops my bad Richard must have posted the wrong pic but anyway those internals should bring it up to 270 to 255 FPS
Also here is the TM Glock 18C Post from Airsoft Hawaii http://www.airsofthawaii.org/ballist...7/g18pdi.shtml These results are for the TM but I emailed him and he stated that the same results can occur 2/3 of the time while 1/3 of the time there is little results since the Cyma cheaped out on gears But a maximum range of 230 feet is quite unbelievable Last edited by cbcsteve; September 9th, 2008 at 16:25.. |

Its going to perform devilishly maxing your range to almost past 100feet if you do everything right as AirsoftHawaii had done

i really gotta get a cyma aep or at least a tm ebb. my brother got this pos ebb glock at a festival which suprisingly has metal gears in it. after id screwed around with it and removed its worthless hop chamber and shit inner barrel and replaced it with a better one pushing the inner barrel all the way down to the air nozzel it now reaches out to roughly 45 feet away with .12's. and while that may not be very far it works well as a cqb back up and indoors
the damn thing makes me want an electric pistol now. even if its a tm ebb

I installed a 7.4v lipo battery into my CYMA 030 and it greatly increased the rof. No problems yet after 2-3 thousand rnds.

Yeah it would still be less, getting the Cyma one and then ramping it out with TM parts will still run you under $300 the least which is what most TM G18c AEPs go for
If you are serious on how to do it Talk to the guys from AirsoftHawaii which I linked the first post for upgrades, if you want he'll even give you a package deal to run your Cyma just like a TM but even better with higher FPS and longer range |
