Magpul PTS - New PMAG real-cap mags. Sexy.
Hot damn, they're sexy. EbayBanned.com carries them for the moment, 5 for 40$ USD. Pretty cheap. They are manufactured by STAR, and I've had some bad experiences with STAR mags in the past, anyone else have problems with STAR mags? out of the "cheap" mag companies, MAG-brand has always been best for me. Thoughts? |

Nice! Pay day isn't coming soon enough this week. 20 rounders too? I wonder if they'll do mix-matched sizes.

Very sexy. If they were to make low or mid-cap versions, I'd be on these like Oprah on a baked ham. With the high rof of my M15 and HK416, 30 rounds is just WAY too low a capacity for me.

Are these actually available for sale now? I was talking to Huang about them and he said they may never see the light of day since Magpul was going after the clone manufacturers of their products. Unless of course STAR is licensed to manufacture them. My understanding was that the PTS division was going to be manufacturing/distributing these themselves.
Anyone know the actual details on this? |

ebaybanned is out of stock; they sold out pretty much as news hit the mainstream.
Airsoftparts is a Magpul dealer, maybe he can hook us up with a deal if there's a large demand.

Or at least locaps.
But @ $8 ea. shipped it's hard to argue against em. Buy a couple of extra double mag pouches for my rig.

Star mags are known to not fit some guns, for examples, not fitting to my CA, G&P and G&G guns. They are compatible with TM-based guns, however.
Anyone has different experience? What about MAG mags fitting to CA, G&P and G&G guns?

I'd be game for that depending on whether they're good with Dboys bodies...don't remember what Dboys is a clone of.

DBoys is TM compatible, but many have bad tolerances. My C8 body is a DBoys. I had to sand down the inside of the mag well significantly to get mags to fit.

OK, well I'll see if Paul @ EbayBanned can hook me up with some 30s and 20s. Unless I can get them from AirsoftParts.ca - I'd rather support the local guys.
I smell a review in the works. Some more pics are up on my site: www.6mm-mag.com Oh, and apparently they are FULLY compatible with these: |

Good to know, I've got no probs with my current mags so hopefully that'll carry on to these....if we can get some in.
