Without any type of firecracker, I don't know how feasable it would be...

Unless you made a M34 Smoke.. And put one of those pullring smokes in it.

you could try to position a AI tornado grenade on a stick like that. im sure it would work.

But would be WAY too big.
Would look the part of a late WWI nade' though.

It's not scale.
For the model I built, the size of a small tin of wood stain.

approx 7.5 cm tall, 7~ wide.

Now, if we could fit the AI nade inside a plastic MKII shell.... wow.

If someone could send me either an original or a repro I can turn the handles out on my wood lathe no problem.

Regardless of the functionality of that grenade, I think that looks rather impressive. Good job.

I think That I would like to have a couple of those, I wonder if you could put a gas reserve in there or maybe a bb loader. Not all granades in airsoft have to be actaully granades.
With WWII your kit is very small I don't have a lot of room for things I need.

And, for airsoft, it looks the part. If its just going be thrown in bunkers and what not, its fine. Why spend 40$ on one that's correct when you have one for a lot less, and it does the same thing.

Theres many MORE things that you can't exactly made that you can buy.

I think these looks geat, and you've inspired me to not bother ordering any, and just trying to make a few myself! Thanks.
