Kraken shooting to the left

Hey, a freind and I just got our Kraken AKs', I've noticed that they both shoot to the left (If you were to aim down the sights, the bbs would be shooting to the left sight post), exactly the same, Would this be a hopup problem or bad barrel?

Thanks!

Id say hopup. Take it out reset it, replace it if possible. I hear its one of things that is recommened to be replaced when you purchase a kraken.

Thankyou Tokyo. And yeah, i've read the 'So, you've baught a kraken' thread on the Custom guns/modifications thread. I just need to finish upgrading my m24 before i start poking at this AK for parts. Just a piston and piston head to go... I'll do that tonight before I go to bed. See how that fares in the morning.

Will post results tommorow afternoon.

Umm, you might also wanna check and see if the front post of your sights is crooked. When I was at the store getting them, I noticed that on 90% of them the front sight was WAY off.

Got my Kraken a couple of days ago. Mine seems to shoot dead center down the sights, until I turn the hop up on more than a quarter inch. However, even this amount of hop seemed to send the bbs around 150 feet before they dropped off. Since I wanted to experiment and see how far I could send them, I turned on some more hop, and the bbs started curving and following inconsistent paths. I had to cut short the session then, so I don't know if I can find that "happy place" again. Hopefully, or else the hop up has to go.

At around 25 feet I can send one bb straight into the back of the preceding one in semi auto, taking the gun off the target in between; so I think I can safely say the sights are mounted squarely in mine.

Does your outer barrel have a kind of ribbed finish? Is your hop up unit black?

Yes, It was black, and was really sticky. I didnt like that one bit. so I tore that out, cleaned the barrel (outer area) from all the greasy shit and installed a guarder clear. Gonna see how that fares tommorow.
and my barrel is sorta ribbed, I dont like it,
