Hi-flow valves GBB

How exactly do they work? By more efficient use of gas or just pumping more gas from the mag?

Thinking of getting one for my GBB. Curious of what the pros and cons are.

Using more gas on each shot. Pro is higher FPS, low is less shots per mag. Simple physics.
