What cell type does this gun use for the battery. I cannot seem to find anything about it so I am asking you guys.

That would be Sub C battery usually set up in a 8.4V mini format.

I have an 8cell intellect 1400mah battery from my r/c would that work?
I need to reconfigure the pack first to fit if it does.

I don't see why it wouldn't, although 9.6v would be pushing it harder then a 7 cell.

The battery that came with my Kraken is made up of seven 4/5C cells if I remember correctly.

Ok an 11.1 volt would not ruin your Kraken, it would blow it up lol

So don't waste your money...

A gun with nicely reinforced internals and mechbox shell would be able to handle that kind of power. It would give an insane rate of fire though. Just the difference between an 8.4V and a 9.6V is pretty impressive. I can't imagine what an 11.1V would do.

Am I looking for a shorter life in my gear box running a 9.6v 1400 intellect mini pack in my kraken?
