Yeah that's the whole point of a SERPA and the locking mechanism, no fuss drawing and holstering.
Basically it means, while you're fiddling with your strap or thumb-break, I'm already shooting you. |

Seriously though, I think I prefer to keep to my hip mount for my SERPA. Don't like the idea of something strapped to my leg, maybe I'm just old fashioned that way.

I got it from Ebay for ~$100.
And I got the drop leg one because I didn't want my camo jacket, weapon, other stuff etc interfering with my pistol and holster. And it's the perfect length, because I'm tall and I've got long arms, so with my natural arm length, my hand is right on the grip of the gun. And in your sig, it says you're a P227 user. I don't think P227's exist? Last edited by Styrak; January 30th, 2008 at 19:59.. |

Mongoose, Huang might be able to hook you up for less than $100.

Yeah, huang has replicas. I was gonna order from him, but then thought his didn't have the rubber on the straps. And then I ordered a BH one, and found out that huang's replicas DO have the rubber. Grr. Oh well.

Cool holster. I've seen them on ebay and was wondering what was so great about them. Now I know.

I like the dual belt straps. That's what I'm going to get for my next holdster. No more saggy belt and turning around the leg holdster!

I've got serpa holsters for my Glock 23 and my Glock 17. Got the glock 17 one just this past week. It was 40 bucks, shipped to my door off ebay! (Only got it with the paddle mount, not the dop leg platform). I'd rather have my serpa up higher away from the ground, try and keep dirt and sand out of it.
