PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a recoil shock equivalent to an increased piston weight without increasing the piston weight and obtain the same recoil shock as that in an actual gun without impairing the appearance of a gun by separately providing a movable part of a piston cylinder from a weight.
SOLUTION: This device comprises a connection part 31 which is moved in a backward direction by the movable part 13 for obtaining a pseudo reaction or a recoil shock by driving the weight resulted from the operation of the movable part of the piston cylinder for generating compressed air, and a recoil spring 35 which is laid in a compressed state by the movable part 13 by receiving a force transmitted to the weight 33 through the connection part 31. When the recoil spring 35 is compressed and then extended by a repelling force, a counteraction involved in the movement of the weight 33 is transmitted to a gun body 37 as the recoil shock.

It is just a pin running through the mechbox to the rear, pushing a second piston back and forth.

Should be working and the foward load generated by an heavier piston won't be there since the parts are not connected.

Only for AR though...

Nice idea, but you can pretty much kiss a rear battery goodbye if your running a slither stock. Doubt you'd even fit one, easily at least, in a full stock.

I really like the idea and I'd definitly go for that if I was to build a CQB AR. I can't afford to have my battery in the front on the M4/M203 setup.

Wouldn't the extra weight of the rear-mass transfer undue stress to the already-fragile front of the v2 mechbox? Stock mechboxes are easy enough to crack with a good stiff spring. Good stiff spring with essentially a weighted piston...couldn't last long unless there's a bunch of buffers/cushions in there I missed.

I suppose the stock tube would have to attach some other way to the lower receiver...since the extension rod is where the stock tube screw is normally.

Would like to see it for just the "that's cool" factor...I'd volunteer to destroy a mechbox or two to try it out.
