1000 grams of .2's is 5000 BBs
1000 grams of .25's is 4000 BBs
1000 grams of .28's about 3500 BBs

5000 BB's in a kilogram at .20
4000 BB's in a kilogram at .25
Aprox 3571 in a kilogram at .28

Very simple math. 1000 grams in a kilogram, simply divide by the weight to find out the number.

so you mean the bags they're selling as 1 kilo is actually not 1 kilo?

I guess not, if the bag says 1kg and there are only 3800 bbs at 0.25g

I've never heard of any manufacturer selling by weight anyway.....

why does it matter?

My Intruder shop bag of .25's has both markings, 4000 BBs and 1KG. First time I noticed they were identified by weight.

I never paid that much attention, and I never cared how much it weighed. It's like people who actually count how many bbs they got, and then bitch (here or elsewhere) that they paid for 3,800 bbs, and only got 3,782.

Wouldn't it be easier to just load them into a bunch of mags to see how many bbs you got in a bag instead of hand-counting them?

well.. I'm just bothered because here in Philippines, bags of .2's .25's and .28's have same prices.. as they claim 1bag is 1KG, of course .25's have lesser rds. than .2's right? I just noticed that the bag of .25's i bought has a label of 3800 rds. It's just not right.. cuz i lose 200 rds...
How much more if I buy 1 bag of .28's??

btw, some here just sell repacked bb's from generic brands from taiwan or china i think.

If you're crying over losing 200 rounds, how can you afford to play? That's what, like 75 cents worth of BB's? Hell, I probably spill more than 200 rounds every time I play and just kick them under my car.

I understand the principal of the matter...but this is relatively small issue overall. If you think you got shorted, buy from another manufacturer.

75 cents worth of BB's is a lot when you think of how much money the manufacturers are scoffing off people when you add it up..at 1000 sales thats $750 worth of BB's!
