Laser boresight for airsoft?

Hell ya! I just picked up one of these last night (from Le Baron):

http://www.walmart.com/catalog/produ...uct_id=4791009

And it's great! Very easy to quickly zero your guns, be it red dot sight, rifle scope, even iron sights. Not only that, but you can see where the BBs will land (as I knew already, Glocks tend to hit about 4" low at 30ft, and the bore sight proved that) so it helps you with learning shot placement for various guns. Heck, I found that my TM MK23 springer with it's fixed sights is about an inch to the left.

Well worth the investment if you work on guns (part of my service with gun work is zeroing the client's gun in), or have a lot of guns that require the occasional re-zero.

Oh ya, forgot to add, the arbours are expandable, so you can easily snug them up or loosen according to the barrel type. Initially I set it up for my M24 with a 6.03mm tightbore, then tried it in all my guns and found varying size differences, the most notable is the stock KSC barrels, very loose (of course I had one of my G19 barrels measured a few years ago and it came up as a whopping 6.14mm diameter! Can anyone say "largebore"?

No, it has a long shaft that you insert into your barrel, then it just sits there until you are finished.

So u just pop it in the barrel, turn it on, aim it at the distance u want to set your sites in then adjust cross hairs accordingly? What about the drop does it measure that to? Sorry I never heard of these before

They are meant for rough zeroing, so you'd do it at home. Not like you'd be able to see the dot 100m away or anything. They are meant to get your sights/scope aligned to around 95% I'd guess, then you do the final adjustments by shooting. Literally it saves you wasted ammo downrange after installing a new scope and mount.

In our case you can set your sights at 30ft (like I do) and have them pretty much bang on. Case in point, I decided to do something different for a target, I drilled a hole in a beer bottle cap, strung it above the sink at the end of my basement, then used the boresighter to set my scope on my M24, and I'd get roughly 7 out of 10 shots hitting that bottle cap. Best ones were when the bap was gently swinging side to side. AND, I used this thing on my KSC MK23 as well, and although it took about 4 shots, I was able to hit the cap with it as well.
