Cool... not sure why they would degrade them self to plastic body's... should be working on getting better internals tbh...

Degrade? How many AEGs have you seen here with aftermarket bodies solely for the trades and markings on them? A plastic AEG for a lower price is a better entry point for those who are looking to do custom builds. By branching into plastic, CA has stakes in both the high quality out-of-box market and the "entry level" market.

Also a version 2 (ie. m4's) should never explode if its upgraded properly, or has a spring that doesn't produce stupid fps.

Apparently The hop up in the m15a4's like to blow up and same with the pistons... I dont see any advantage of this over a jg

Yet some pistons strip within 500rnds. Its hit or miss, as said.
Also Drach, metal bodies are allowed in Japan, but they must be made of a lower quality material that can't take the force of a real bullet being fired from it if it was modified. SystemA PTW's have lower grade than real steel aluminum in the receiver (still better than CA, G&P, G&G, etc.) because they wanted them legal to sell in Japan. Also look at the Type 89, full metal, made by TM. Japanese PTW's come with M90 cylinders to adhere to the 1J limits. The big advantage with CA was full metal out of the box for cheaper than G&P, at least in my opinion, I wont buy one or recommend them to anyone, TM all the way for entry level, have seen a couple JG's go wonky too. |
