Inner Barrels
So I was browsing along when I came across a web site which was selling some interesting styles of inner barrels.
http://www.x-fire.org/e.index.htm Iam curious what would the 6.01, or 6.08 pistol inner barrel be like?. Would it be better or worse than what most seem to be putting in GBB's these days. |

That's a cool site. Damn you for showing me that G17 Tactical Block And it's 105 bucks. Yikes! I put a PDI 6.01 inner barrel from DenTrinity in my Glock and get very tight groupings. This site's barrel prices are pretty consistent with the others. Is the barrel for your 19? I'd say go for it; just use a high-quality BB.

KSC perfects of Madbull ISPC(??) grade .20, .25, or .30's
... Do not use stuff like flying colors... those things explode in my 6.03 tightbore. |

Heard good things about KSC Perfects (specifically the Perfect line) but don't have much experience with them, though they are one of the few readily available brands with affordable BBs over .28g.
I'm quite happy with BB Bastards right now. Never had a misfeed. |

BB Bastards are great, but there have been a few "brains" found in the occasional bag. I've seen two so far this year, and most of us in Ottawa use them (MANY bags of 0.28g have been expended around here.)

so would the 6.01 mm barrel be a better choice than an .03? ive talked with a lot of people, and they all say just go for the .03 to avoid complications. What if you run out of decent BBs and you have to borrow someone elses? apparently, the .02 doesn't make that huge of a difference anyway. or so i am told. what do you use stalker?

if you want to put a 6.01 in there, make sure you go Semi-auto only and use high quality BBs. its best if you examine the BBs before loading it in.
KSC Perfects for $17 a bag only at BB Supply! |

I got a 15-20FPS boost over a freind's Prometheus 6.03mm TBB with my DB customs 6.01mm in my friends G3. I have yet to have any issues with over 20,000 BBs. I'm a support gunner and shoot 50-150+ rnd burst all the time. The 6.01mm TBB is reliable! Toytec .2 .25, KSC .2 .25, PHX .2 .23 .25 .28, AE .20 (white) are all fine. I sold him my Prometheus 6.03mm which was great when I had it. He could get away with Crossman .2 most of the time but never had a jam with AE .25 or AE black BBs. Those AE BBs are a particularly inconsistently shaped BB and should not be used in the 6.01. But, I don't know of any great FPS gains with the 6.03mm, maybe 5-10FPS and they cost the same with shipping.
